livin' a large & lavish lifestyle

(mostly just large)

So, I bought myself a girdle today.

I had one already, from my last postpartum stage of life, but poor thing has been used & stretched to odd dimensions- that couldn't possibly resemble a normal body shape. Must be because the kids played with it.....yeah....that's it.

What is your latest totally unnecessary make-ya-feel-better-about-yourself purchase?

(Bonus, got it 50% off).

  1. Gluten free chocolate chip cookie mix. Made me feel like, "Heck, I can still eat freaking chocolate chips cookies even though I can't eat gluten. Boo-ya!" Even though technically I am still waiting on the results of wether I am gluten intolerant or not.

  2. a new purse...I have like fifty but needed this special one because it was pretty. And it made me feel pretty.

Plus it was on clearance and she was lonely.

  3. uhh, a gym membership. Totally unnecessary (we have a treadmill at home), BUT we figure it will give us a little more of a kick in the pants boost. I was there 5 times last week, including Saturday. It has been great to go, leave the kids and feel (almost) like you are on a date with the hubby.

  4. Bikinis - yes many, I admit it - mix and match on sale once I started I couldn't stop. I haven't worn anything like that since pre-babies. But you do crazy stuff on vacation.....and honestly that is the only time they will be worn, pretty much useless to me now - unnecessary.

  6. Uh, I wish I had something that was unnecessary but made me feel better about myself, but I don't. I just wanted to let you know that I'm glad you're back, kind of. I don't have much room to talk though, since I'm also about two months behind in my blog. Here's to hoping 2011 sees many more Ponytail posts, and sees me get caught up on my blog. Cheers!

  9. If you wish to use flowers, glass vases, or candles, albeit
with a twist, you can think about innovative designs
and arrangements to make your reception table stand out in the crowd.
There are a lot of people who appreciate these kinds of lamps.
While covering the dance floor area with small poles elegantly draped with satin ribbons or garlands of greenery makes for a beautiful scene.

  12. You should also try to compute if you will be able to save on your wedding cake design by serving other deserts and just going for a smaller and simpler cake.
You can go in for a vintage wedding cake design. Food products are
    particularly difficult to formally protect.
